Summer is busy and going by fast

Hi everybody! It's almost August and we've been really busy. This week and next week Sterling and Maiah are taking swimming lessons, Jaden is doing a gymnastics camp and swimming lessons on Saturdays. Maiah had an appointment with the orthodontist today and another doctor's appointment too. Tomorrow is the first day in a while when we don't have to go anywhere. All day. Isn't that amazing! Anyway, we are enjoying the summer. I am using some time to exercise too in an attempt to lose some poundage. Maiah is still crazy over the Twilight Saga and I've been reading some books too. They're starting a book club at church, so I'm supposed to pick a book of my choosing this month and report to the group how it was. Sterling's birthday is coming up next Thursday, turning 6 years old. Maiah will be going to Girl's Camp next week too. So I'd love to hear from all of you and hope you're doing well.

Schools out and the kids are Wii crazy

Hiya everyone. School got out on Friday May 22. So the kids had a week of more free time. Sterling and Maiah want to play Wii games all the time. Sterling wants to go outside and play a lot too. Jaden and Sadie love to be outside too.

It looks like a busy summer ahead of us. Sterling's playing t-ball, and doing a soccer camp. Jaden and Sterling are still in gymnastics. I'm trying to get the kids into swimming lessons. Sterling's going on a few field trips with the Youth Center. Maiah's going to Youth Conference, a Military Kids Camp, Driver's Ed, Missoula Children's Theatre "The Pied Piper", and Girls Encampment (they're calling it that because they're not really camping, they're staying in dorms). Plus my plans for them to read and math and instrument practice. I think I'm going to get some home schooling books to keep them going over the summer. And then there's trips to the library and swimming pool on base. Somewhere between all that we need to keep up with the house, yard, and trying to weed through boxes in the storage unit and garage.

It's getting closer to the end of school

The kids are busy with end of school stuff. Maiah had her last tennis match and practice this week. Sterling is excited for the fun stuff they do at school. Jaden and Sadie are getting more playful and are fun to be around at home.

Sadie was sick on Saturday

Poor little baby. Sadie was throwing up and confused by it. She had the "What's going on?" face. She's better now.

Maiah is keeping busy with tennis at school and homework. Today is Maiah's 15th birthday.

Sterling enjoys playing outside and is getting better at riding his bike.

Jaden still loves princesses, unicorns, mermaids, and The Backyardigans.

New to Blogging

This is brand new and I thought it would be a great way to keep in touch with family and friends. I'll be trying to figure this all out and hopefully, will get some cool stuff on here soon. Ta-ta for now.
